Bookings should be made directly to Discover East
A deposit of US$ 200 per person is required upon confirmation of your booking. Balance is due 30 days prior to departure. A full payment is required for bookings, which are made less than 30 days prior to departure. Once a deposit is received, it is understood that you have read and accept all Terms and Conditions outlined.
Cancellation must be received in writing and will be subject to the following cancellation fees applied per person, per arrangement:
* More than 30 days before departure:
>> Lost of deposit.
* Less than 30 days before departure:
>> 30% of land cost or US$ 100 whichever is the greater.
* Less than 15 days before departure:
>> 50% of land cost or US$ 100 whichever is the greater.
* Less than 10 days before departure:
>> 100% of land cost.
No partial refund will be given for unused or cancelled services after your tour arrangements have commenced
Our departure for group tours is guaranteed on the basis of 6 participants minimum, however we can still operate your trip once you agree to pay the difference caused by the fall of your group size
Discover East reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any trip in accordance of operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. Should it occur, we will offer you alternative arrangements. If there is a difference in cost, this shall be for your account. If you do dot accept this alternative arrangement, we may treat this contract as at an end. We will refund all money and will then be under no further liability
Our programs, services, prices and conditions are correct at the time of our publication but is subject to change. Therefore we reserve the right to amend them without notice at any time and for the most accurate information and sharpest pricing, please be sure to confirm the details of your requirements when you book
Insurance is not included in your tour cost. Passengers are strongly advised to have full travel insurance in the country of origin before departure.
Please note that Discover East acts as agents only for the companies providing transport, accommodation or other services. Therefore, our responsibilities are subject to the terms and conditions under which transportation and services are offered. Some of these providers or suppliers limit or exclude their liability. One of the highlights of travelling with Discover East will be your interaction with the people of the country that you are visiting and the members of your group. Such interaction should be based on respect for the culture, rights and opinions of others. Discover East reserves the right to terminate the provision of services to passengers deemed by either our tour guide or management to be behaving in a manner which might cause serious offence, be in breach of the law, or threatened the safety or significant compromise the enjoyment of fellow travellers. All possible care is taken to ensure suppliers maintain high standards. However, as we do not control the airlines, car operators or hotels, we cannot be responsible in any way for problems resulting from the booking, howsoever arising, unless it is direct result of negligence on our part.
Discover East gives notice that any liability on our part shall be limited to a maximum of the tour cost, subject to the following conditions:
Discover East cannot accept responsibility for any aspects of your holiday arrangements affected by matters over our control, including natural disaster, weather conditions, fire, government action, curtailment or rescheduling of flights. Discover East will endeavour to ensure the departure of your selected tour date. Please note that Discover East reserves the right to cancel the tour prior to departure or to apply a surcharge to recover the costs of operating the programme should the group size fall below the actual number that our pricing has based on.
Participation on any tours implies full agreement to the above conditions by all parties involved.
